Sooji Pancake | Sooji Cheela | Mini Rava | Semolina Pancake | Vegetable Pancakes Recipe


#Sunday mornings who wants to get out of their bed to make #breakfast. But what if I tell you that you can make your breakfast in no #time. And the best part is, it will be #healthy, #nutritious and #filling. Excited!

#Summers, clean, white sky and the best summer drink on the breakfast table. Don’t just imagine it, Get up and let’s get started!!


  • Preparation time 20 mins

  • Cooking time 10 mins

  • Servings 8

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup : Sooji / semolina

  • ½ Cup : Curd / yogurt

  • 2 Table spoon : Ghee / clarified butter

  • 100 gms : Tomatoes

  • 100 gms : Onion

  • 100 gms : Cucumber

  • Water as required

  • Table salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add sooji / semolina, curd / yogurt, salt, water and form a smooth mixture

  2. The mixture should neither be too thick nor too liquid.

  3. Keep aside the above mixture and cover it with a lid for 15-20 mins

  4. Take a nonstick pan on low flame, add ghee / clarified butter on its surface equally

  5. Spread the batter in round shaped pancake

  6. Quickly add finely chopped tomatoes, onion and cucumber on it

  7. Cook on high flame now

  8. Use a spatula to lift the pancake and check if has turned golden brown from bottom

  9. If it has add 2-3 drops of ghee / clarified butter on top of it

  10. Flip the pancake and cook from other side for 2-3 mins

  11. Ready to serve

*#Tip :

  1. If your location is in cold place then skip step 3 and use Fruit salt or Eno or soda powder or yeast powder just before before step 4

  2. Can add capsicum or other vegetables you like which can be eaten raw

  3. Chilly powder or chilly flakes are optional

**#Serve with red sauce, tomato ketchup and green sauce
