Rice Balls | Rice Pakodha | Left over Rice | Cooked Rice Recepie

Trin Trin **! #Alert ! Are your guests coming today and you cannot think of anything to make so quickly? Don’t worry all you need is left over rice and you can #Welcome them with hot and crispy #RiceBalls with your beautiful SMILES.


It’s a very easy and hardly takes time to prepare as well as to cook. The best part is that if you want to add chilly or not its all upto you. It is an ideal snack for kids, youth and old, so you can serve it almost in every #occasion.



  • Preparation time 10 mins

  • Cooking time 15 mins

  • Servings 10

Ingredients


  • 1 Cup Left over Rice

  • 4 table spoon Besan / chickpea flour

  • ½ Tea spoon Turmeric powder

  • ½ Tea spoon Coriander powder

  • ½ Cup Coriander leaves

  • 1 Tea spoon Kasuri methi / fenugreek leaves

  • ½ Table spoon Chat masala

  • ½ Table spoon Table salt

  • 100 ml Mustard oil to deep fry

*#Chilly powder or chilly flakes are optional

Instructions

  1. Mash the left over rice in a bowl

  2. Add besan / chickpea flour and table salt

  3. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and chat masala

  4. Add coriander leaves, kasuri methi / fenugreek leaves

  5. Mix all ingredients and prepare dough

  6. Roll out small balls from the dough

  7. Keep a pan on medium flame, add mustard oil to the pan.

  8. Deep fry the rolls till they turn golden brown

  9. Serve hot and crispy Rice Balls on plate

*#Add 1 table spoon of water at last only if you are unable to form balls

**#Serve with green chutney or red sauce or ketchup.
