Yes outside food is #good and #tasty but it does not #guaranty its #hygiene, #freshness, #nutrition and most importantly #love. These can only be given to us at our #home with our #loved ones and #family. Certainly we can’t make like famous #restaurants does and surely none of us wants to know their #secret to #cook but we can try with our #love for our #family.

So let’s get started and make a #mouthwatering and #delicious #dish!

  • Preparation time 8 hr

  • Cooking time 2 hr

  • Servings 6

Ingredients

  • 2 Cup : Rajma / red kidney beans

  • 2 Buds : Laung / clove

  • 2 Count : Kalimirch / black pepper

  • 1 Count : Badi elaichi/ black cardamom

  • 2 Medium : Onion

  • 2 Medium : Tomatoes

  • 4 Pods : Garlic

  • 2 Count : Green chili

  • ½ Table spoon : Jeera / cumin seeds

  • 1 Tea spoon : Turmeric powder

  • 1 Tea spoon : Coriander powder

  • 1 Tea spoon : Garam Masala

  • 1 Tea spoon : Kasuri methi / fenugreek leaves

  • ½ Cup : Coriander leaves

  • Table salt to taste

  • Water as required

  • 4 Table spoon : Mustard oil

Instructions

  1. Soak rajma / red kidney beans in water for overnight

  2. Take a pressure cooker, add properly soaked rajma / red kidney beans and add laung / clove, badi elaichi/ black cardamom, kalimirch / black pepper, water and salt to boil on medium flames

  3. Grind onion, garlic, green chili, tomatoes in a grinder

  4. Take a pan on medium flame, add mustard oil

  5. Add jeera / cumin seeds, kasuri methi / fenugreek leaves and let them crackle

  6. Add grinded mixture, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and table salt

  7. Cook till oil separates

  8. Add the cooked mixture to the boiled rajma / red kidney beans and mix well

  9. Add water and turn off the flames once boiled

  10. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves

  11. Ready to serve

*#Tips: Chili powder or chili flakes are optional


**#Serve with roti, paratha, rice, poori
