Ingredients
2 Cup : Rajma / red kidney beans
2 Buds : Laung / clove
2 Count : Kalimirch / black pepper
1 Count : Badi elaichi/ black cardamom
2 Medium : Onion
2 Medium : Tomatoes
4 Pods : Garlic
2 Count : Green chili
½ Table spoon : Jeera / cumin seeds
1 Tea spoon : Turmeric powder
1 Tea spoon : Coriander powder
1 Tea spoon : Garam Masala
1 Tea spoon : Kasuri methi / fenugreek leaves
½ Cup : Coriander leaves
Table salt to taste
Water as required
4 Table spoon : Mustard oil
Instructions
Soak rajma / red kidney beans in water for overnight
Take a pressure cooker, add properly soaked rajma / red kidney beans and add laung / clove, badi elaichi/ black cardamom, kalimirch / black pepper, water and salt to boil on medium flames
Grind onion, garlic, green chili, tomatoes in a grinder
Take a pan on medium flame, add mustard oil
Add jeera / cumin seeds, kasuri methi / fenugreek leaves and let them crackle
Add grinded mixture, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and table salt
Cook till oil separates
Add the cooked mixture to the boiled rajma / red kidney beans and mix well
Add water and turn off the flames once boiled
Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves
Ready to serve
*#Tips: Chili powder or chili flakes are optional
