Ingredients
2 ½ Cup : Besan / chickpea flour
½ Cup : Dahi / curd/ yogurt
2 Tea spoon : Turmeric powder
2 Tea spoon : Coriander powder
2 Tea spoon : Garam Masala
2 Tea spoon : Kasuri methi / fenugreek leaves
1 Table Spoon : Kadi Pata / curry leaves
2 Count : Red dried chili
1 Tea spoon : Methi seeds / fenugreek
Table salt to taste
Water as required
100 ml : Mustard oil
Instructions
For making #Pakora –
Take a bowl, add besan / chickpea flour
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, kasuri methi / fenugreek leaves and table salt
Pour water and form a smooth flowing batter
Keep a kadhai on medium flame, add mustard oil
Drop one table spoon of batter
Deep fry till they turn golden brown
For making #kadhi –
Take a bowl and add besan / chickpea flour, dahi / curd/ yogurt and mix well
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, kasuri methi / fenugreek leaves and table salt
Take a kadhai on medium flame, add mustard oil
Add methi seeds / fenugreek, kadi Pata / curry leaves, red dried chili and let them crackle
Add the besan / chickpea flour – dahi / curd/ yogurt mixture
Add water and let it boil
Add pakodha and boil till it becomes a little thick
Ready to serve
*#Tips:
Chili powder or chili flakes are optional
Wants more thick kadhi add little more besan in step 6
**#Serve with rice, roti, paratha, poori
