You might use all powers of slimming techniques but if you don’t have healthy diet, you can never get perfect FITNESS.

But YOU Don’t Worry! We are here for your rescue. Bring to you a #tangy, #delicious, #mouthwatering dish, #GreenPapayaVegetable. Technically a green papaya constitutes of mainly water and little carbohydrates with negligible fat and protein. It’s an ideal dish for any occasion. So let’s get started and make this #spicy and #savory dish.


  • Preparation time 10 mins

  • Cooking time 20 mins

  • Servings 10


Ingredients

  • ½ kg : Kacha papita / Green papaya

  • 1 Tea spoon : Jeera / cumin seeds

  • ½ Tea spoon : Turmeric powder

  • ½ Tea spoon : Coriander powder

  • ½ Cup : Garam Masala

  • ½ Tea spoon : Heeng / asafetida

  • ½ Table spoon : Chat masala

  • ½ Table spoon : Amchoor powder / mango powder

  • 2 Table spoon : Mustard oil

  • 100 gms : Tomatoes

  • 100 gms : Onion

  • Table salt to taste

  • 1 Table spoon : Chilly flakes

Instructions

  1. Take a pan on medium flame, add mustard oil to the pan

  2. Add jeera / cumin seeds, heeng / asafetida and let them crackle

  3. Add onion and fry till golden brown

  4. Add tomatoes followed by table salt

  5. Smash tomatoes to form curry

  6. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam Masala

  7. Cook until the oil separates

  8. Add chat masala, amchoor powder / mango powder

  9. Add chopped pieces of kacha papita / Green papaya and cover it

  10. Cook till water from kacha papita / Green papaya evaporates [dry frying]

  11. Sprinkle chilly flakes on it

  12. Ready to serve

*#Tip: For proper cooking check kacha papita / Green papaya after dry frying to get soft like boiled potato

** #Serve with roti, chapatti, bread, puri
