After #InstantAchar, we have come up with Dry Mango Achar/ #Mango pickle, after all its #summers and we can’t miss any chance to leave our #favorite fruit. Dry Mango Pickle takes some time to #prepare but once done it can be kept for #months.
So let’s get started and make bundles of jar with #pickles so that we can enjoy the taste of mango #thorough out the #year!
Preparation time 20 mins
Cooking time 4 weeks
Ingredients
1 kg : Raw mango
500 ml : Mustard oil
1 Packet : Achar masala (Readymade)
Instructions
Wash and chop raw mangoes into small pieces with cover and discard the seeds
Dry the raw mangoes in sun for 1 week
Take kadhai on medium flame, add mustard oil
Turn off the flame when oils get heated up and start to smoke
Add the readymade achar masala and leave for 5 mins
Add dry raw mango pieces and mix well
Let it cool down then transfer to a glass jar
Keep the jar in sun for 3 weeks
Ready to serve
*#Tip:
Can use own made achar masala
Don’t open the jar too often
Mix by shaking the jar 5-6 time in a day
Can add more chilly powder or chilly flakes
**#Serve with chapatti, roti, paratha, puri and other dishes
