Dry Mango Pickle | Aam Achar | Aam Ka Achar | All Season Pickle | Sukha Achar | Mango Pickle


After #InstantAchar, we have come up with Dry Mango Achar/ #Mango pickle, after all its #summers and we can’t miss any chance to leave our #favorite fruit. Dry Mango Pickle takes some time to #prepare but once done it can be kept for #months.

So let’s get started and make bundles of jar with #pickles so that we can enjoy the taste of mango #thorough out the #year!


  • Preparation time 20 mins

  • Cooking time 4 weeks

Ingredients

  • 1 kg : Raw mango

  • 500 ml : Mustard oil

  • 1 Packet : Achar masala (Readymade)

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop raw mangoes into small pieces with cover and discard the seeds

  2. Dry the raw mangoes in sun for 1 week

  3. Take kadhai on medium flame, add mustard oil

  4. Turn off the flame when oils get heated up and start to smoke

  5. Add the readymade achar masala and leave for 5 mins

  6. Add dry raw mango pieces and mix well

  7. Let it cool down then transfer to a glass jar

  8. Keep the jar in sun for 3 weeks

  9. Ready to serve


*#Tip:

  1. Can use own made achar masala

  2. Don’t open the jar too often

  3. Mix by shaking the jar 5-6 time in a day

  4. Can add more chilly powder or chilly flakes

**#Serve with chapatti, roti, paratha, puri and other dishes
