#Wheat is a traditional #stable food of #India and its nearby countries and forms the most common #bread of people. #Paratha is a word in #hindi which is formed by combining two words #Parat (layers) and #Atta (wheat flour). There has been variety of paratha from plain to fillings. #Stuff paratha can be of #pulses, #vegetables, #fruits or other #eatables but only at one condition that it should have #minimum moisture.

Daal Paratha
Preparation time 20 mins
Cooking time 30 mins
Servings 5
Ingredients
1 ½ Cup : Boiled Pulses
2 Cup : Wheat flour
½ Table spoon : Turmeric powder
½ Table spoon : Coriander powder
1 table spoon : Ajwain / carom
1 Tea spoon : Kasuri methi / fenugreek leaves
½ Cup : Coriander leaves
1 Table spoon : Green chilly
5 Table spoon : Ghee / clarified butter
Table salt to taste
Water as required
Instructions
Completely drain out the water from boiled pulses and keep aside
Take a bowl and mix pulses, turmeric powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi / fenugreek leaves, green chilly, coriander leaves, ajwain / carom, table salt and make a mixture
In a large bowl take wheat flour and gradually stir in pulses water left from above step
Knead with hands until perfectly smooth and combined
Now divide the prepared dough into small equal size balls
Take one ball and roll with a rolling-pin.
Make a small roti and place a 1 table spoon of prepared stuffing on the center.
Cover from all the side, dust some flour and roll again to make a proper paratha.
Take a tawa on medium flame
Place the stuffed parantha gently on the hot tawa
Roast from both sides by greasing it with ghee
Ready to serve
*Tip:
You can use any oil you prefer instead of ghee
Green chilly are optional
**Serve with red sauce, tomato ketchup, green sauce, pickle and curd
