Ingredients
500 gms : Bhindi / ladyfinger
1 Cup : Onion
1 Tea spoon : Jeera / cumin seeds
½ Tea spoon : Heeng / asafetida
1 Tea spoon : Turmeric powder
1 Tea spoon : Coriander powder
1 Tea spoon : Garam masala
2 Table spoon : Mustard oil
Table salt to taste
Instructions
Take kadhai on medium flame, add mustard oil
Add jeera / cumin seeds, heeng / asafetida and let them crackle
Add onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala
Add table salt and sauté for 2-3 minutes
Add chopped bhindi / ladyfinger and mix well
Mix after every 5 minutes for 20 minutes
Ready to serve
*#Tip: Chilly powder or chilly flakes are optional
**#Serve with chapatti, roti, paratha, poori
