So, Lets start with todays video! What is SEO? It means Search Engine Optimization. It is basically is a process of making any digital algorithm rank up your content in Search results. Same thing happens in Youtube, when your videos come in any search result, its is because of SEO’s! So any keywords pertaining to your videos gets in the search result, thus getting your video a viewer and a future subscriber! For any small youtube creator ranking in search result should be the first and foremost step in growing their channel! So start with these steps —>
Simply start by researching the best keywords that you can think for your videos. Now youtube algorithm extracts your keywords and checks how often and how much the keywords has been searched and how many people are making video title related to those keywords! Now there are a lot of keyword research tool. Some of the paid keyword research tools are like Tubebuddy, vidIQ, tubics, keywords everywhere , but if you don’t want to pay there are some FREE versions also like Google Ads Keyword Planner, Google Suggest, BingAds Keyword Planner and Youtube itself!
When you upload any video on youtube, its algorithm goes directly for your METADATA. Now you would ask what is that? So, this takes us to our 2nd step. Metadata comprises of your Title, Description and Tags. These three help Youtube algorithm know what your video is about and who all can be its potential target audience! So, how to rank up your video for that keyword in the METADATA youtube algorithm? Start with putting it in your Title followed by even in your description and then finally making it to your first tag in the tags list!
